Managed AI · monthly Care plans

The build is the door. The retainer is the business.

A system that is not watched drifts. Prompts rot, connectors break, models update, staff invent new workarounds, and the thing you paid for quietly dies. Every production system we ship includes 30 days of burn-in, then moves onto a monthly Care plan for updates, monitoring and small changes.

What the monthly fee actually buys

  • Uptime watch. If the receptionist, agent or box goes quiet, we see it before your Friday job list does.
  • Updates. Models, prompts, connectors, OS. The unglamorous work that stops silent failure.
  • A change budget. Minutes included every month so “can it also ask for the suburb” is not a new project.
  • A short report. Volume, containment, failures, hours saved — something a principal can read in three minutes.
  • A human. Named owner. Not a ticket void.

How we sell it

Setup is priced to get a win on the board. Care is priced to own the system.

Retainer questions

Can we take the system and self-manage?

Yes, after handover, if you have a named internal owner. We still recommend 90 days of Care. On-prem hardware we supplied requires On-prem Care for the first year — otherwise the box becomes an unpatched liability with our name on the invoice.

Is there a lock-in?

90 days minimum, then month-to-month. 30 days’ notice. We keep runbooks current so you are not hostage to a mystery script.

What if we want a new workflow?

Small branches come out of the included minutes. A new agent or a new process is a scoped build, then it joins the same retainer.

Government and Defence?

Same structure, tighter reporting. Air-gapped Care includes approved-media model drops and a restore test you can show an assessor.

Price the month, not just the launch.

If you already have a system someone else built that is drifting, we will put it on Care after a paid health check.
